Zero Excuses - Lots of Laughs

🌟 Fun, Sweaty, Zero-Excuses Workout Vibes in Doha Today!

If you’ve ever walked into a gym thinking, “Maybe I’ll just stretch and leave…”—today’s post is for you. 😅
This morning’s workout turned into an unexpectedly hilarious cardio party, and honestly? It was exactly the kind of energy boost an expat gym junkie like me lives for.

🏋️‍♀️ The Workout: “Don’t-Stop-the-Music” Circuit

I stumbled into a new class they’re piloting here—Rhythmic HIIT. Imagine fast-paced intervals, but choreographed to actual dance breaks. At one point I was doing jump squats while the instructor yelled, “Make it SPICY!”

Spoiler: my quads definitely felt the spice. 🌶️🔥

Here’s the circuit in case you want to try it at home:
1️⃣ 30 sec dance-jog in place
2️⃣ 20 jump squats
3️⃣ 30 sec fast feet
4️⃣ 20 alternating lunges with overhead clap
5️⃣ 30 sec freestyle dance (yes, really)
Repeat 4 times… embrace the sweat.

😂 Fun Moment of the Day

During the freestyle section, someone broke into what can only be described as “expat dad-at-a-wedding energy.” The entire class lost it. Even the instructor paused the music because she was laughing too hard.

Gym culture in Doha is wild, wonderful, and absolutely unpredictable—in the best way.

💧 Takeaway Tip

If motivation is slipping, switch up your class style.
New pace = new energy = new commitment.
